Ameco provides line maintenance services at Beijing Daxing International Airport The Chinese MRO provider Ameco has obtained certification from EASA and Cvil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to carry our line maintenance for Air China and third-party cilents at the new Beijing Daxing International Airport. The EASA certification cover the Airbus A350, A330, Boeing 787-8/9, while the CAAC certification is Air China’s fleet, including the 747-8 and eight other aircraft for third party customers. Boeing, China Aviation Supplies to jointly provide support to Chinese airlines Boeing and China Aviation Supplies Co (CASC) announced that they will tie up to provide enhanced operational support to Chinese airlines, which could involve cooperation in areas such as parts delivery or aircraft dismantling. Flights between Japanese cities and Shanghai to increase ahead of Tokyo Olympics The Japanese and Chinese governments are looking to increase the number of flights linking Shanghai and Japanese cities to alleviate congestion and improve security, Japanese government and other sources said quoted The Japan Times. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the U.N.’s civil aviation agency that proposed the plan, is aiming to expand the number of flights next spring, enabling Japan to cope with growing demand ahead of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics next summer. Juneyao Air to launch Manchester-Shanghai route in March 2020 Juneyao Air will launch a new route between Manchester and Shanghai next year. The three-times weekly service will begin at the end of March 2020 and be operated by a two-class B787-9 Dreamliner. It will “initially” operate via Helsinki, the carrier said. It marks the first UK service for Juneyao Air. Juneyao Air to start new Dublin-Shanghai route Juneyao Air is to launch a new twice weekly route between Dublin Airport and China's largest city Shanghai from next March. The new service to Shanghai Pudong Airport will also have onward connections to 40 other Chinese destinations, six cities in Japan and 10 other Asia-Pacific destinations. The new route will operate twice weekly on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a short stop in Helsinki on each leg. Sheremetyevo Details Formula for Success as the Largest Hub for Europe-China Passenger Traffic The Head of International Air Companies Service of Sheremetyevo International Airport said that the airport's success in the Chinese-European market is due to the strong attention it has paid to the needs of Chinese travelers as well as the airport's advantageous geographic position. Speaking at the 2019 IAR Chinese-European Aviation Summit, Aleksandr Nikonov emphasized that Sheremetyevo particularly prioritizes on-time performance, development of innovative infrastructure, and the creation of a comfortable environment for Chinese passengers. Sichuan Airlines commences freighter aircraft operations from Delhi airport  Sichuan Airlines has commenced their freighter aircraft operations from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, GMR-led Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) announced.  This is a significant development as with this routing, businesses in North India will gain faster access to the markets in China, according to an official statement. Sichuan Airlines commenced its freighter services twice a week from China's Shaanxi Province to Delhi and return to Chengdu operated by an Airbus A330-200F. Universal Begins Ground Handling in Beijing Under a recently signed agreement that took effect yesterday, Universal Weather and Aviation’s Universal Aviation China is now providing on-ramp ground handling at China Capital Jet (CJet) Beijing, which operates the lone FBO at Beijing Capital Airport. Universal has had a presence in China for the past two decades and provides private aviation ground handling at Shanghai Pudong International and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airports.
