CDB Aviation Delivers First of Five A320neos to Loong Air CDB Aviation announced 18 September the delivery of the first of five Airbus A320neo aircraft to Hangzhou-based Loong Air. The delivery marks the first A320neo to join CDB Aviation’s fleet from its orderbook with Airbus. The A320neo, configured in a 174-seat layout and powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines, is part of the lease agreement signed between CDB Aviation and Loong Air in 2015. The second A320neo aircraft is slated to arrive later this week, with the remaining three to be delivered between 2019 and 2020. FPG Amentum arranges sale of two Lion Air 737-900ERs FPG Amentum announced 18 Septe,ber the sale of two Boeing 737-900ERs (MSNs 35713 & 35716) for one of its investor customers. The aircraft are on lease to PT Lion Mentari (‘Lion Air’) and were sold to an Irish lessor. Goshawk Aviation closes acquisition of SKY Leasing’s Irish subsidiary On the 13th of September 2018 Goshawk Aviation announced closed the acquisition of SKY Leasing’s Irish subsidiary creating a top 10 aircraft lessor with a combined US$11.4bn fleet. This acquisition accelerated Goshawk fast growth trajectory: the addition of 51 young aircraft with long leases brings its owned, managed and committed fleet to 223 aircraft. The acquisition has increased Goshawk’s diversification by adding 17 new lessees and 6 new countries bringing total reach to 64 lessees and 34 countries. Intrepid Rebrands as Voyager Intrepid Aviation Group Holdings announced 21 September it is rebranding as Voyager Aviation Holdings (“Voyager”). This represents the next step in the evolution of the company following the announcement of the strategic partnership entered into with Amedeo on July 2nd 2018. Milestone Aviation and Airbus to Provide Five H145 Helicopters to Aramco Milestone Aviation and Airbus Helicopters announced today they will provide five H145s to Aramco Overseas Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, a fully integrated, global petroleum and chemicals enterprise. The five aircraft are sourced from Milestone’s orderbook with Airbus and are expected to be delivered to Aramco over the next twelve months. This latest lease commitment of five light-twin aircraft will be in addition to the 24 medium aircraft Milestone currently has contracted on lease to Aramco.
