Avolon Delivers One Airbus A330neo to Thai AirAsia X Avolon announced 9^th August the delivery of one Airbus A330neo to Thai AirAsia X. This is the first Avolon aircraft on lease to Thai AirAsia X. Fly Leasing reports net income of $54m for second quarter Fly Leasing reported a net income of $54.1 million (€49m) for the second quarter of 2019. At June 30 FLY had 98 aircraft and seven CFM engines on lease to 45 airlines in 25 countries. Of the 98 aircraft, 12 were classified as held for sale. Fly Leasing CEO Colm Barrington said “FLY continues to achieve record results, producing its fifth straight quarter of double-digit ROE. FLY will begin taking delivery of its $1 billion of contracted A320neo family aircraft later this year, and is well positioned to add aircraft as opportunities arise.” Nordic Aviation Capital delivered one new ATR 42-600, MSN 1219, and one new ATR 72-600, MSN 1548, to Silver Airways on lease Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced 19^th August the delivery of one new ATR 42-600, MSN 1219, and one new ATR 72-600, MSN 1548, to Silver Airways on lease. SMBC Aviation Capital Publishes 2019 Annual Report SMBC Aviation Capital published its 2019 Annual Report with its portfolio now comprising of 236 owned aircraft with a further 179 managed for investor customers with a weighted average age of 4.2 years. the proportion of new technology aircraft in the portfolio to 37%, a trend which will continue in the coming period stated SMBC Aviation Capital.
