AviaAM Financial Leasing China introduces 3 A320s into its fleet
AviaAM Leasing, a Warsaw Stock Exchange listed aircraft leasing company, announced that its joint venture with the Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment Company (HNCA) – AviaAM Financial Leasing China – has acquired three newly-built Airbus A320 aircraft. All three aircraft came in 8 business and 150 economy seat configuration and in the livery of their first operator – Aeroflot – Russian Airlines. The aircraft already reached Russian flag carrier’s base at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport. The aircraft were delivered to the airline under a 12-year long operating lease agreement.
China’s homemade C919 secures 570 orders, says report
China’s first domestically produced single-aisle passenger jet, the C919, which is expected to make its maiden flight on Friday, has secured 570 orders from 23 clients, China Securities Network reported on Wednesday. Financial leasing companies, such as Ping An Leasing and CCB Financial Leasing, have become the biggest clients, with each of them ordering 50 units, while ICBC Leasing Co Ltd and ABC Financial Leasing have ordered 45 units each. COMAC has also received 20 orders from SPDB Financial Leasing and 36 from CITIC Financial Leasing, among others, according to the report.
Ping An Leasing Delivers Airbus A350-900XWB Wide-body Aircraft on Sale and Leaseback to Ethiopian Airlines
Ping An Leasing has delivered an Airbus A350-900XWB wide-body aircraft on sale and leaseback to Ethiopian Airlines on April 28, 2017 in Toulouse. The transaction was completed by its wholly-owned Dublin-based subsidiary, Ping An Aircraft Leasing and represents the first wide-body aircraft in its portfolio and also its first sale and leaseback in Africa. The aircraft is the first delivery from sale and lease back arrangement for two A350-900 delivering in 2017 between Ping An Aircraft Leasing and Ethiopian Airlines.
