Air Italy Announces New Flights From Milan To Delhi

Air Italy announced it will launch non-stop flights to the Indian Capital Delhi later this year, adding a fifth new international destination served from its Milan Malpensa hub. The new service will commence five-times weekly on 28th October 2018 and will be operated with an Airbus A330-200, offering 24 flatbed seats in Business Class and 228 seats in Economy Class.

Boeing expands its footprint in aerospace engineering in India

Boeing announced in Bengaluru on its expansion of engineering and technology centre and said it would accommodate another 1,000 new employees to drive aerospace innovation. Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre (BIETC) inaugurated recently will work on cutting-edge technologies that will drive aerospace innovation from India, Boeing stated.

IndiGo announces Jorhat and Dhaka as new destinations; Adds 16 new flights to its network

IndiGo is further enhancing its customer experience with the launch of Jorhat and Dhaka as its new destinations. Under the UDAN scheme, Jorhat will be the 54th destination on IndiGo’s network. Dhaka will be the 55th destination commencing on 1 August. From August the carrier will operate its first daily flight between Bengaluru and Raipur. Additionally, the airline will operate a 2nd daily flight between Kolkata-Nagpur, a 3rd daily flight between Bengaluru and Nagpur, and 4th daily flight between Bengaluru and Jaipur, and Bengaluru and Vizag respectively.

SpiceJet announces direct flights between Tuticorin and Bengaluru 

SpiceJet has announced a new route between Tuticorin and Bengaluru commencing 1 July.

Vistara completes initial aircraft deliveries 

India’s Vistara has taken delivery its its 21st aircraft, an Airbus A320neo, completing the first phase of its fleet programme. Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that the Tata Sons – Singapore Airlines joint venture now operates eight A320neos and 13 A320ceos. They are leased from six lessors, including BOC Aviation, SKY Leasing and Ping An Leasing.
