AASSC ties up with Bengaluru-based company to launch drone learning course

The Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC) apex body set-up under the Government-led initiative of “Skill India” to train the Indian workforce has signed an MoU with a Bengaluru-based Drone Learning and Research Company.

Air India revival to help boost Delhi airport hub traffic, says DIAL chief

GMR-run Delhi airport expects hub traffic to surge to 25% in the next three years as Air India will expand its domestic and international network hub under the stewardship of Tatas, according to a senior official. The Indira Gandhi International Airport, operated by DIAL. Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar told PTI that Tata Group coming on board Air India is definitely a very positive move.

Akasa Air gets NOC, set to start operations by mid-2022

Akasa Air announced have received their No-Objection Certificate from the aviation ministry and plans to start operations by mid-22. In a statement the carrier said “SNV Aviation Pvt. Ltd., that will fly under the brand name Akasa Air, announced that it has received a No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Civil Aviation as it embarks on its journey to offer Indian flyers a warm, efficient, reliable, and affordable travel experience.”

India allows domestic flights to fly at full capacity

India’s civil aviation ministry announced it lifted one of the major restrictions on the industry since the onset of the pandemic 18 months ago. The domestic sector can operate at 100% capacity effect from Monday 18th October.
