Airports Authority of India (AAI) installs IP AMSS at Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) announced it has successfully installed in-house developed IP-based Automatic Message Switching System (IP AMSS) at 3 Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. IP AMSS systems facilitates the timely exchange of operationally significant Aeronautical, #Flight and Meteorological messages for safe and efficient aircraft operation.

Fitch Revises Outlook on Delhi International Airport to Stable; Affirms at ‘BB-‘

Fitch Ratings has revised the Outlook on Delhi International Airport Limited’s (DIAL) Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) and the ratings on the senior secured notes and India Airport Infra’s senior secured notes to Stable from Negative, and affirmed the ratings at ‘BB-‘. The Outlook revision is supported by financial headroom available for DIAL at the current rating level, driven by the continuing recovery in domestic passenger traffic.

India’s aviation ministry to examine 5G concerns

The Indian aviation ministry (MOCA) may hold discussions with multiple industry stakeholders and the telecom department before the launch of 5G mobile broadband services amid concerns that these airwaves could affect airline operations, the Economic Times reported.

Second flypop aircraft takes to skies in maiden flight

flypop announced the carrier second Airbus A330 aircraft has entered service for cargo operations. The carrier will bring two more of its fleet of aircraft into service for cargo duties and plan to launch passenger flights in the summer to meet the pent-up demand of the Indian diaspora communities living in the UK and their visiting friends and relatives. flypop CEO & Principal (Nino) Navdip Singh Judge said ““Fantastic to see our second flypop aircraft in the skies and especially here at our UK base at London Stansted Airport and flying over my house! flypop is now a revenue generating airline and we look forward to continuing to grow our fleet of aircraft throughout 2022 for both cargo and passenger operations.”
