Aergo Capital continues transition out of classic aircraft with disposal of two vintage aircraft

Aergo Capital has announced the sale of two (2) aircraft as the company continues to reduce the average age of its fleet. Aergo sold one vintage Airbus A320-200 bearing Manufacturers Serial Number 0662 to a third party aircraft lessor. The aircraft is subject to an operating lease with Smartlynx Airlines. Aergo also sold one Vintage Boeing 737-300 bearing Manufacturers Serial Number 29334 to Plane Business Limited.

AerCap Expects Widebody Aircraft Deferrals

AerCap CEO Aengus Kelly believes that airlines will continue to defer widebody aircraft deliveries, but his view of the market remains fundamentally positive “We see big deferrals in the widebody market” Kelly told an audience at the Airline Economics Growth Frontiers conference in Dublin.

AerCap handles transactions covering 458 aircraft in 2016

Dublin based aircraft lessor AerCap leased, purchased and sold a total of 458 aircraft in 2016 and signed $4.6 billion in financing transactions. Detailing its year-end figures on 16 January. AerCap said it had signed leases on 279 aircraft, bought a further 38 and sold 141 over the 12-month period.

Aergo Capital, PK AirFinance and KDB provide four 737’s for Indonesian Airlines

Aergo Capital has announced 17 January PK AirFinance and the Korea Development Bank as debt partners on four Boeing 737-900ER aircraft subject to leases with to Sriwijaya Air (two aircraft) and Thai Lion Air (two aircraft).

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) confirmed 11 January that it has delivered one ATR 72-500, MSN 538, to PT Trigana Air Service on lease.

SMBC Aviation Capital completes transaction with Royal Aero GmbH

SMBC Aviation Capital announced 13 January that Royal Aero GmbH, Germany, has acquired an Airbus A319-100 (MSN 1541) from its portfolio. This aircraft is Royal Aero’s first A319 acquisition and will remain on lease with Bhutan Airlines.

SMBC Aviation Capital Concludes First Aircraft Delivery of 2017

SMBC Aviation Capital has delivered one Boeing 737-800 aircraft (MSN 35017) to Ukraine International Airlines (UIA). This is SMBC Aviation Capital’s fourth aircraft delivery to UIA and the company’s first delivery of 2017. The aircraft underwent a modification programme at Dublin airport and is the final delivery of a four aircraft deal.
