CDB Aviation Closes $700 Million Secured Portfolio Financing
CDB Aviation announced 8 October that the company successfully closed a secured portfolio financing facility for $700 million, covering a fleet of 19 Airbus and Boeing aircraft. CDB Aviation Chief Financial Officer Will Gramolt said “Diversifying financing sources at a competitive cost of capital is a key objective for CDB Aviation, and we appreciate the strong support from our banking partners in concluding this transaction”
Elix Aviation Celebration with WestJet Encore
Elix Aviation Capital presented the WestJet Team with a specially commissioned piece of artwork by Scottish artist Dugald Cameron at their campus in Calgary. The artwork depicts a WestJet Encore Q400 over Western Canada with the city of Calgary and the Rocky Mountains in the background. To Mark the lease of two DHC8-400 aircraft.

Zephyrus Aviation Capital Announces Closing of ZCAP 2018-1
Zephyrus Aviation Capital announced 10 October that it has closed the Company’s first structured ABS financing, ZCAP 2018-1. Zephyrus Capital Aviation Partners 2018-1 Ltd and Zephyrus Capital Aviation Partners 2018-1 LLC will borrow $336.6 million, which will be used to finance the acquisition of a diversified portfolio of 21 in-production, predominantly narrow-body aircraft on lease to 19 lessees in 14 countries, from Avolon.
