Aergo Capital announces acquisition of Seraph Aviation

Aergo Capital announced that it has acquired Seraph Aviation Management Limited (Seraph Aviation) for an undisclosed fee. As part of the transaction, Aergo will assume the management and administration of (eighty-eight) 88 aviation assets spread across 38 unique lessees with a combined asset value of $2.5 billion. The number of aircraft owned and managed by Aergo will increase to 304 aircraft assets (including aircraft under LOI), valued at approximately US$6.8 billion. Aergo Capital CEO Fred Brown stated “We are extremely happy to complete the acquisition of Seraph Aviation Management Limited which we believe is an excellent strategic fit with our existing managed asset portfolio and which will bring Aergo to the top of the industry league table by quantity of aircraft assets under management.”

Milestone Aviation Signs Lease Agreements with PHI Aviation for 2 Sikorsky S92s and 1 Leonardo AW139

Milestone Aviation announced it has signed lease agreements with leading commercial helicopter operator, PHI Aviation for three helicopters. The agreements include the placement and extension of two Sikorsky S92 helicopters and one Leonardo AW139 helicopter, bringing PHI’s total fleet on lease from Milestone to four, including the existing lease of one S92 helicopters. Milestone President & CEO Pat Sheedy said, “We are delighted to expand our partnership with PHI and to support their growing global offshore operations. With the delivery of these helicopters, we have quadrupled the number of Milestone-owned aircraft operating within the PHI fleet. We wish PHI continuing success and look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
 

Nordic Aviation Capital launches NAC Women in Aviation Scholarship Funds with Cranfield University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Asia)

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced partnerships with two leading universities to launch the NAC Women in Aviation Scholarship Funds. Both funds seek to promote diversity and nurture the next generation of female aviation talent for the next four academic years. Each year, two female candidates will be selected and awarded the scholarships at Cranfield, one from the MSc in Air Transport Management (ATM) and one from the MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design (AVD). Nordic Aviation Capital  President & CEO Norman C.T. Liu said: “We’re very pleased to launch these inaugural Women in Aviation Scholarships with Cranfield and Embry-Riddle Asia. We hope that these scholarships will encourage more women to enter the aviation industry in both the general management and engineering fields.”

 

SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Airbus A320neo to Spirit Airlines

SMBC Aviation Capital announce the delivery of one (1) Airbus A320neo aircraft (MSN 11151) equipped with two PW1127G-JM engines to Spirit Airlines. The aircraft is the final delivered to Spirit between November 2021 and November 2022 as part of a 14x aircraft sale and leaseback transaction.
