AerCap Announces Lease Agreements with Thai Airways

AerCap announced it has signed lease agreements with Thai Airways for seven widebody aircraft comprising four Airbus A350-900 aircraft and three Boeing 787-9 aircraft, and ten Airbus A321Neo aircraft. The A350-900 deliveries will be completed by end of 2024Q2. The 787 deliveries are scheduled to begin 2024q2 through the 2025Q4, while deliveries of the A321NEOs are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2025 through the second quarter 2026. AerCap Chief Commercial Officer Peter Anderson said "AerCap is very pleased to announce this significant transaction with Thai Airways and to support them with both their widebody and narrowbody fleet modernization plan as they emerge from a very challenging period. AerCap's business relationship with Thai Airways began in the mid-1990s with the lease of Boeing 737-400s and Airbus A330-300s, and we have worked closely together during both the upcycles and downcycles to maintain and strengthen the partnership between our two companies. We thank Thai Airways for their business and look forward to working with them as these aircraft deliver, and beyond."

Jackson Square Aviation announced the financing to Hawaiian Airlines, with the delivery of their first Boeing 787-9. JSA Head of Marketing Americas and OEM Relations John Yanney, said “While our relationship with Hawaiian Airlines runs nearly a decade, we’re especially honored they have entrusted JSA to finance their newest aircraft type of their fleet. We look forward to welcoming the Hawaiian Dreamliner to our home city of San Francisco at the start of its service and wish them well as they share the Aloha Spirit across their global network with this aircraft.”
 

Griffin Global Asset Management Announces Preston Sutter as Treasurer

Stratos completes Etihad Airways Airbus A330 Transaction

Stratos announced it has arranged the sale of two Airbus A330-200 aircraft for Etihad Airways in the past two weeks, continuing a deal flow involving 10 widebodies to different buyers and lessees over the past 12 months. The engines from the aircraft, MSNs 825 and 831, were sold to an undisclosed large international operator while the airframes were sold in a separate transaction to AerFin.
