ACIA Aero Leasing and IPR Conversions to Convert Three ATR 72-600 Aircraft

Three ATR 72-600 aircraft will be converted into freighters as a result of a cooperative agreement between ACIA Aero Leasing and IPR Conversions (Switzerland) Limited, holders of the Supplemental Type Certificate for the conversion of ATR 42 and ATR 72 aircraft. The corporations will start the first conversion in January 2023 after reaching agreements to carry them out in Europe, Canada, and the U.S.A. ACIA Aero Leasing CEO Mick Mooney said “Over the last 18 months, we have observed a shortage of good-quality ATR 72-500s available for conversion in the market, while witnessing a marked increase in the demand for the ATR 72-600, in both LCD and bulk freighter configurations. Now is the perfect time to start converting ATR 72-600 aircraft. We are already in discussions with a number of potential operators about leasing these aircraft and expect to progress our discussions into firm lease commitments in the coming months.”

Alliance Air receives two brand-new ATR42-600 aircraft from TrueNoord

Alliance Air received two brand-new ATR42-600s, according to a statement from TrueNoord. The aircraft will fly domestic routes throughout India, concentrating on difficult airfields in the Himalayas. They will join Alliance Air's fleet on a long-term operating lease. TrueNoord Sales Director – Asia Pacific Carst Lindeboom said “The collaboration between TrueNoord, Alliance and ATR was very productive and led to a smooth transaction, completed in good time. Alliance is a very experienced ATR operator and it was a pleasure working with them, we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with their professional and knowledgeable team.”

Dynam Aviation delivers two Airbus A321neo aircraft to Wizz Air Malta

Two brand-new Airbus A321neo aircraft have been delivered to Wizz Air Malta under a long-term lease, according to Dynam Aviation Ireland. The aircraft are the final four to be delivered as part of a previously announced sale and leaseback deal.Wizz Air Malta Managing Director Heiko Holm said “We are pleased to accept the delivery of two Airbus A321neo aircraft, which will be leased to our new subsidiary, Wizz Air Malta. The aircraft will support Wizz Air Malta’s growth, helping to reinforce our strong position in the global market and support our ambitious expansion plans across Europe. Our continued partnership with Dynam Aviation helps us to provide affordable air travel to more people.”

Heart Aerospace's advisory board welcomes CDB Aviation to further the development of hybrid electric aircraft.
