Arctic Aviation Assets DAC Reaches Agreement on Restructuring of Airbus delivery schedule Arctic Aviation Assets DAC, a subsidiary of Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA announced 24 April that it has reached an agreement in principle with Airbus regarding a restructuring of the fleet delivery schedule, including both A320neos and A321LRs. This restructuring remains subject to contractual documentation agreement. The restructuring will reduce capital expenditure by approximately $670 million for 2019 and 2020 and $2.4 billion over the next five years. Avolon: Positioning Ireland at the Forefront of Global Start-up Innovation Avolon Holdings Limited (Avolon) announced 24 April the publication of a White Paper, Project i, which assesses Irelands start-up ˜ecosystem when compared to best-in-class around the world. The full report is available on the Avolon website at: https://www.avolon.aero/thoughts CDB Aviation Closes $525 Million Unsecured Credit Facility CDB Aviation announced 23 April the closing of a $525 million unsecured credit facility, which marks the company’s first such syndicated transaction. The five-year facility, which will be used for general corporate purposes, was led by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C., Mizuho Bank, Ltd., and Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking as Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners. Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank acted as the facility Agent. CDB Aviation Receives Investment Grade Ratings from Moody's, S&P Global and Fitch CDB Aviation announced 25 April that the ‘big three’ global credit rating agencies have each assigned strong investment grade (“IG”) issuer credit ratings to CDB Aviation. This important milestone has been reached on schedule, as part of CDB Aviation’s strategic effort to transform its aircraft leasing platform into a global, best-in-class, full-service lessor. Nordic Aviation Capital congratulates Silver Airways on first ATR-600 series flight in the U.S. Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) 23 April congratulated Silver Airways on their first new ATR42-600 aircraft flight in North America. Silver Airways has taken delivery of three new ATR42-600 aircraft, MSN’s 1214, 1216 and 1217 from NAC. The airline launched its regularly scheduled flights aboard its new ATR42-600 MSN 1214 aircraft. SMBC Aviation Capital delivers first Airbus A320neo to S7 SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one (1) Airbus A320neo aircraft (MSN 8852) equipped with two (2) Pratt&Whitney PW1127G-JM engines to S7. This is the first A320neo aircraft to be delivered to S7 from an eight (8) aircraft deal.
