AEI receives Indonesian STC approval for the Boeing 737-800SF

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DgCA) for the Republic of Indonesia has accepted Aeronautical Engineers Inc.'s STC (ST02690LA) for the conversion of a B737-800SF freighter with 12 pallet positions. For its Boeing 737-800SF, AEI has received approval from the FAA, CAAC, EASA, TCCA, UK CAA, CAACI (Cayman Islands), DCA (Guernsey), ANAC, CAAM, and as of right now, Indonesia. All 737-800 line number aircraft, including those with Split Scimitar winglets and Flat Aft Pressure Bulkheads, can be converted by AEI.

Atlas Air delivers its first Boeing 747-8 freighter to Kuehne + Nagel

As part of the long-term charter agreement with Atlas Air, Kuehne+Nagel has started operating its first Boeing 747-8 Freighter. Kuehne+Nagel, the industry leader in air freight, increases its network by chartering both of the final two 747-8F aircraft that Boeing delivered.. Atlas Air Worldwide President and Chief Executive Officer John Dietrich, said “This 747-8 delivery underscores the importance of our long-term strategic partnership with Kuehne+Nagel and our commitment to support their continued growth and expansion.”

Aviation Capital Group Delivers Airbus 320neo to JetSMART

Aviation Capital Group announced the delivery of one new Airbus A320neo aircraft on long-term lease to JetSMART. This aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1127GA-JM engines. ACG Vice President Marketing for the Latin American region Marine Benoit, said “We are pleased to continue developing our partnership with JetSMART with this A320neo delivery. We are honored to support JetSMART’s fleet expansion with this modern, fuel-efficient aircraft.”

Swoop Inducts Boeing 737 MAX 8 into fleet

Swoop is celebrating the entry into service of its sixth new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. In just under ten months, the carrier has added six new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to its existing fleet of ten Boeing 737-800 NGs, bringing its total fleet size to 16 aircraft. Swoop President Bob Cummings said “We're thrilled to be celebrating the entry into service of our sixth new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, increasing our capacity and sustainability with the most fuel-efficient single-aisle aircraft on the market.”

Wings Capital Partners delivers Airbus A320 to Air Serbia

Wings Capital Partners announced the delivery of one Airbus A320-200 aircraft to Air Serbia. Wings Capital Partners Vice President, Marketing Gerry Burke said “Wings delivery of this A320 aircraft to Air Serbia commences our relationship with the airline. We are very proud to support Air Serbia’s growing fleet needs with the delivery of this aircraft and look forward to a long relationship with the airline.”
