Atlas Air Takes Delivery of First of Four New Boeing 777-200 Freighters

Atlas Air announced it has taken delivery of a Boeing 777-200 Freighter, which it will operate on behalf of its customer MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA, as part of a previously announced long-term ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, insurance) agreement. The 777-200 Freighter will complement MSC’s world-class container shipping solutions and expand service to key trade lanes for various industries, including those which traditionally have significant air cargo transportation needs. This aircraft is the first of four new Boeing 777 Freighters that Atlas will operate for MSC.

ATSG Directors Approve New $150 Million Share Repurchase Authorization

Air Transport Services Group announced its Board of Directors has adopted a new common-share repurchase authorization in replacement for its largely exhausted prior authorization, allowing the Company, subject to specified conditions, to repurchase up to an additional $150 million of its common shares. ATSG President and CEO Rich Corrado said, "ATSG’s Board of Directors believes that share repurchases, when used effectively as one component of a carefully considered capital allocation program, are in the best interest of all shareholders of ATSG."

Aviation Capital Group Announces Delivery of One A320neo to FlyArystan

Aviation Capital Group announced the delivery of one new Airbus A320neo aircraft on long-term lease to FlyArystan. This aircraft, featuring Pratt & Whitney PW1127G-JM engines, is the second A320neo that ACG has delivered to FlyArystan as part of a multi-aircraft transaction with the airline.

Azorra Completes 5 Sale & Leasebacks Of New E2 Aircraft With Porter Airlines

Azorra Aviation announce that it has closed the sale and leaseback of five new E195-E2 aircraft with Porter Airlines. GetJet Airlines Returns To Canadian Skies - Wet Leasing One Boeing 737-800 To Fly Swoop

GetJet Airlines announced the wet-lease of one B737-800 to Fly Swoop owned by WestJet Group. The carrier’s Boeing 737-800 bearing the registration LY-DUE was delivered to Toronto Pearson International Airport on31st of December 2022, before beginning commercial operations within Fly Swoops’ network on the 1st of January 2023. GetJet Airlines CEO Rūta Kulvinskaitė said "GetJet Airlines is delighted to kick off 2023 with this exciting collaboration along Fly Swoop. We have grown from strength to strength during this winter season, with our company's portfolio expanding internationally, as our current fleet has a strong footprint across four continents , serving  clients in Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America.”
