Air Canada to Launch Seasonal Flights to Bangkok and Mumbai for Winter 2022-23 Season Air Canada announced the expansion of its international network with the addition of Bangkok, Thailand, the carrier's first non-stop service to South-East Asia. The airline will also be resuming flights to Mumbai, its second destination in the strategic India market. Air Canada's seasonal service to Bangkok will operate from its trans-Pacific hub at Vancouver International Airport, while the carrier's Mumbai flights will operate from Toronto via London-Heathrow. Both routes are subject to receiving final government approvals. Altavair Further Expands Marketing Team Altavair announced  the appointment of Brian Rynott as Senior Vice President, Marketing – Americas. Mr. Rynott will play a key role in expanding and deepening relationships across the Americas to further grow Altavair’s managed fleet of leased commercial aircraft. GA Telesis Announces Substantial Expansion to Leadership Position in the USM Market GA Telesis announced a substantial expansion to its inventory of Used Serviceable Material with the disassembly of a Boeing 777-200ER, two Airbus A320-200, and four Airbus A340-600 aircraft. GAT's Component Solutions team will manage the distribution of the USM from these three aircraft types. JetBlue’s Transatlantic Service Soars With Permanent Heathrow Slots, Added Gatwick Flying and Even More Speed at U.K. Airports JetBlue announced a series of new milestones related to its growing London service which further advances the airline’s transatlantic growth to some of the busiest and most competitive travel corridors in the world. The airline has secured permanent slots at Heathrow, is adding a new Gatwick departure from New York and is improving the airport experience for customers in the United Kingdom. JetBlue has received permanent slots at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) for flights starting October 29, 2022, which secures the airline’s long-term future at Heathrow and will operate a second daily flight between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and London Gatwick Airport (LGW). Honeywell Appoints C&L Aviation as Channel Partner Honeywell Aerospace has approved C&L Aviation Group as a channel partner, enabling the Bangor, Maine-based MRO to offer the full line of Honeywell’s avionics products. That line includes all NZ 6.1 FMZ-2000 FMS upgrades, DU875 LCD unit system upgrades, Primus Elite, RD-7000 weather radar systems, Laseref IV inertial reference systems, and CD-830 touchscreen display control units.
