Air India Launches Easy Connect Flights

Air India has launched its first Easy Connect flight under the Government of India’s new hub-and-spoke framework, beginning with Varanasi and linking domestic spoke cities to international services through Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The airline plans to progressively expand the model to several Indian cities, including Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Chennai, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Patna, Vadodara and Visakhapatnam.

Akasa Air Forays Into Rajasthan

Akasa Air will add Udaipur to its domestic network from 15 October 2026, with daily direct flights connecting the city with Mumbai and Bengaluru. The route supports demand from leisure, hospitality, destination wedding and experiential travel segments.
