Air India Becomes First Airline to Announce Flights to Halwara (Ludhiana)
Air India has announced Halwara (Ludhiana) as its newest domestic destination, becoming the first airline to launch operations to the airport. Starting 15 May 2026, the airline will operate twice-daily flights between Delhi and Halwara using A320 Family aircraft, improving connectivity for Punjab’s industrial region and enabling seamless international travel via Delhi.
Akasa Air Closes FY25-26 with 37 Aircraft
Akasa Air has expanded its fleet to 37 aircraft following the delivery of two Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft, marking a 35% year-on-year growth. The airline continues to scale rapidly, supported by a strong order book of 226 aircraft, with 189 more deliveries scheduled over the next six years to meet rising travel demand in India.
IndiGo Deploys Second A321XLR on Delhi–Istanbul Route
IndiGo has deployed its second Airbus A321XLR on the Delhi–Istanbul route from 19 April 2026.
