AerCap Delivers First Airbus A321neo to Thai Airways

AerCap has successfully delivered the first of ten Airbus A321neo aircraft to Thai Airways, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s fleet modernisation programme. The remaining nine aircraft are scheduled for delivery through 2028. CEO Aengus Kelly commented, “We are proud to introduce the A321neo to our long-standing, valued partner, THAI Airways. Our relationship with THAI began in the mid-1990s with the lease of Airbus A330-300s and Boeing 737-400s, and since then, we’ve supported their evolution through periods of transformation. Today, we celebrate a revitalized, financially robust airline.”

 

Aergo Capital Acquires Airbus A320neo on Lease to SAS

Aergo Capital has completed the acquisition of an Airbus A320neo, serial number 7290, on lease to SAS – Scandinavian Airlines. The aircraft was previously owned by SDH Wings and serviced by AviLease. CEO Fred Browne commented, “We are pleased to announce this acquisition from SDH Wings and look forward to future transactions with them. This addition strengthens our portfolio and reinforces our partnership with SAS, a key player in the European market.”

 

AFG Places New A321neo with IndiGo

Aircraft Finance Germany (AFG) has acquired a new Airbus A321neo, serial number 12798, which has been leased to IndiGo. The aircraft was delivered to the airline on 18 December 2025. AFG CEO Christian Nuehlen commented, “We are extremely proud of this milestone in AFG’s history. The A321neo will be an excellent addition to IndiGo’s rapidly expanding fleet, and we look forward to continuing our strong partnership with them.”

 

HRA Acquires 787-8 Dreamliner from BBAM

High Ridge Aviation (HRA) has completed the acquisition of a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (MSN 34423) from BBAM Aircraft Leasing & Management (BBAM). The aircraft is currently leased to TUI and continues to operate within the airline’s long-haul fleet. This marks High Ridge Aviation’s first acquisition from BBAM and the beginning of a new customer relationship with TUI. CEO Greg Conlon said, “We are pleased to complete our first transaction with BBAM and to welcome TUI as a new customer. This acquisition reflects our team’s extensive experience and our commitment to executing disciplined, value-driven transactions.”
