AerCap Appoints New Board Member and Reappoints Key Executives
At its Annual General Meeting on 16 April 2025, AerCap announced the appointment of Vicky Jarman as Non-Executive Director, alongside the reappointment of Chairman Paul T. Dacier, CEO Aengus Kelly, and board members James Lawrence, Jennifer VanBelle, and Michael Walsh—all for four-year terms. Michael Gradon retired from the Board after 15 years of service, having joined during the Genesis acquisition. CEO Aengus Kelly acknowledged Jarman’s governance experience and praised Gradon’s role in shaping AerCap into the world’s leading lessor.
AFG Aviation Places A320-214 with Buraq Air in Libya
AFG Aviation Ireland Limited has successfully placed an Airbus A320-214 (MSN 4993) with Buraq Air, Libya’s first private airline. The aircraft will operate out of Mitiga International Airport, Tripoli, enhancing Buraq Air’s fleet capability and reinforcing AFG’s presence in emerging North African markets.
Azorra Delivers First Embraer E195-E2 to Hunnu Air in Mongolia
Azorra has delivered the first Embraer E195-E2 to Hunnu Air, marking the type’s debut in Mongolia.
