Acumen’s Take

Across markets, aviation is clearly operating in a phase of recalibration rather than recovery. Demand remains resilient, but capacity, capital, and regulatory frameworks are now the binding constraints shaping decision-making. Airlines and lessors are prioritising flexibility, disciplined balance sheet management, and long-term partnerships as operational and geopolitical uncertainty persists. As 2026 unfolds, competitive advantage will increasingly come from structural resilience and execution, not headline growth alone.
