Avianor and Air Canada Sign Airbus A220 Maintenance Agreement

Avianor and Air Canada announced signature of long-term Airbus A220 Maintenance Agreement formalizing the longstanding partnership between the two parties since the initial Letter of Intent was signed in January of 2020. Both companies have been actively engaged in the maintenance of the Airbus A220 since it entered Air Canada’s fleet.

Air Canada Vice President of Maintenance Josh Vanderveen, said “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Avianor under this newly solidified agreement. We are proud to be involved in building a Quebec-based, global center of maintenance expertise for the A220.”

 

Elevate Aviation Group Deepens New Pacific Airlines Relationship

Elevate Aviation Group and New Pacific Airlines announced deepening of their active relationship to foster new opportunities together announcing jointly their fleet plan for three Boeing 757-200 aircraft in a 78-passenger, all business class configuration. The two companies also plan to expand their joint offering as more aircraft join the New Pacific fleet in the coming months. This enhanced fleet will be ready to assist with the upcoming demand increase as professional and collegiate sports come back for their fall seasons.

Private Jet Services (PJS) President Lezlea List, said "Our top priority is delivering safe, best-in-market aircraft to our mission-oriented clients. We view this partnership as a game changer for our product offering." Rob McKinney, CEO of New Pacific Airlines also noted of the partnership with, "We have entered into agreements with other companies throughout our history, but continue to be impressed at the professionalism of the team at Elevate Aviation Group. Gulfstream Aerospace Announces Aircraft Milestone

Gulfstream Aerospace announced the Gulfstream G650 and G650ER surpassed 1 million flight hours, with more than 560 aircraft in service. The G650 and G650ER have achieved more than 125 city-pair speed records, and the G650ER holds the record for the farthest fastest business jet flight in history. Gulfstream President Mark Burns said “We could not be more pleased that the G650 program — synonymous with business aviation excellence — has been serving our customers for over a decade. This milestone is a true testament to our precision manufacturing, state-of-the-art design, world-class Gulfstream Customer Support, and commitment to continuously improve our customers’ operating experience.” 

 

Universal Aviation signs Saudi Partnership Agreement

Universal Aviation signed an agreement with Altanfeethi to explore opportunities for transforming general aviation infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The move comes a week after the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) unveiled a general aviation roadmap to increase the sector’s GDP to $2 billion by 2030, in line with the nation’s wider Vision 2030 plan and the Saudi Aviation Strategy. The roadmap also specifies that more than 90% of business jets owned by Saudi nationals should be based in the kingdom rather than overseas.
