Aercap Leases Two Airbus A321P2F Aircraft With Swiftair

AerCap announced it has signed lease agreements for two Airbus A321P2Faircraft with Spanish cargo operator, Swiftair, for delivery in April and June 2024 post conversion by Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH ("EFW") at ST Engineering Aerospace in Singapore. Head of AerCap Cargo Rich Greener, said "We are pleased to announce our agreement to lease two Airbus A321P2F aircraft to our long-term customer, Swiftair. The A321P2F is a best-in-class narrowbody freighter solution, offering superior economics in terms of fuel-efficiency and flexibility, and will allow Swiftair to continue to grow their route network. We look forward to working with the Swiftair team as these aircraft deliver."

Avolon Places Aircraft Orders To Drive Growth

Avolon announced it has agreed to order 100 Airbus A321neo aircraft and Boeing 40 737 MAX aircraft, for delivery out to 2032. The orderbook expansion increases Avolon’s owned, managed and committed fleet from 897 at September 30 2023 to 1037 aircraft. Avolon CEO Andy Cronin said "Today’s orders strengthen our delivery pipeline and reflect our confidence in the long-term outlook for aviation. We have committed to direct orders for 200 new, fuel-efficient aircraft this year, supporting the transformation of our fleet to lower emissions aircraft. The scale of our orderbook reflects the strength of Avolon’s balance sheet, our proven ability to execute swiftly, and the longstanding relationships we have with both Airbus and Boeing."

Genesis announces acquisition of an Airbus A321-200

 Genesis announced expansion of their commercial aircraft leased portfolio with the recent announcement of the acquisition of one  Airbus A321-200 aircraft on lease to Wizz Air.  Genesis CEO Karl Griffin said "Genesis is delighted to expand our partnership with Wizz through the acquisition of this additional A321-200 while also increasing our portfolio scale in Europe. Genesis continues to increase its service offering to global passenger airlines and believes in delivering tailored solutions to meet our customers’ requirements".

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) completes ATR42-500 sales agreement

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced that it has completed a sale agreement for one ATR 42-500 with Denmark based MRO Skyways Technics.
