AirAsia Aims To Complete Stake Sale In Plane Leasing Arm By Year-End-CEO AirAsia aims to complete the stake sale process in its aircraft leasing arm Asia Aviation Capital by this year-end, its chief executive said. AirAsia has appointed RHB Investment Bank, Credit Suisse, and BNP Paribas to advise on either a full or a part sale of a "substantial" stake in Asia Aviation Capital. If successful, proceeds from the sale could be distributed to shareholders as dividends or used to trim AirAsia's debt, the company had said. Asia Aviation had leased 63 aircraft to its associates as well as third-party airline, according to its annual report. BOC Aviation Delivers First P&W-Powered A320NEO Aircraft To S7 Airlines BOC Aviation announced 21 July that it has delivered its first A320NEO aircraft to S7 Airlines. The aircraft is also the first A320NEO powered by the Pratt & Whitney PurePower® PW1100G-JM engine to be delivered to any Russian carrier. BOC Aviation is scheduled to deliver a second A320NEO to the airline in the first half of 2018. Lessor chooses suppliers as it launches aviation leasing business Tibet Financial Leasing has signed Memorandums of Understanding with Boeing and Airbus for new aircraft worth more than $3 billion as it launches its aviation leasing business. Tibet Financial Leasing, which is registered in Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone, was established as the first financial leasing company in Tibet Autonomous Region in 2015, with approval from China Banking Regulatory Commission. Under the memorandums, the Boeing order covers 20 737 MAX airplanes including the 737 MAX 10 and 737 MAX 8 airplanes. Airbus will supply 20 A321neos. Stellwagen Capital in 10 year loan to China Aircraft Leasing Group Stellwagen Capital, which provides aircraft financing solutions to leasing companies and airlines, has provided a 10 year loan to China Aircraft Leasing Group.
