Air Macau reinstates Macao to Beijing route

Air Macau announced  plans to resume daily direct round-trip flights between Macao and Beijing Daxing International Airport effective from 26 March as it remains confident on a growing travel demand between Macao and the Chinese mainland.

Airbus delivers first A321NEO from China Final Assembly Line

Airbus announced it has delivered the first A321neo aircraft assembled at its Final Assembly Line Asia (FAL Tianjin) to China’s Juneyao Air in Tianjin, China. Airbus Executive Vice President and Airbus China CEO George Xu, said “Since we announced the commissioning of the first A321 aircraft at FAL Tianjin last November, the relevant final assembly activities and tests went on smoothly, showcasing the maturity of FAL Tianjin to quickly adapt to new products. The successful delivery of the first A321 aircraft enables Airbus to honour the popularity of the aircraft for the China market and beyond - and the consistent trust and support from our customers.”

BASF inaugurates MRO Station in Shanghai

BASF inaugurated a new Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Station in Shanghai, China, certified with a CAAC Part 145 maintenance license to service DeoxoTM aircraft ozone and ozone/VOC converters. BASF Global Business Manager, Aerospace, Olivia Cromwell, said “We are excited that we can now service our customers in Asia Pacific in a facility located in the region. We are also proud to be able to help airlines be compliant with government regulations and enable cleaner air for passengers and crews in Asia and beyond.”

Maersk Air Cargo launches new Europe-China route

Maersk Air Cargo announced the inaugural flight of the logistics company’s new air freight service with new scheduled flights between Billund, Denmark  and Hangzhou, China . The new service is responding to increasing customer demand. The scheduled commenced 20 March with three weekly flights introducing the first of three newly converted Boeing 767-300 freighters. Global Head of Air in A.P. Moller – Maersk Michel Pozas Lucic said “With the introduction of our new service between Europe and China, we have taken another leap with our customers in providing true integrated logistics. We want to ensure that our customers have the visibility, reliability, and resilience in their supply chains. In this, air freight with scheduled flights and controlled capacity represents a crucial part of our customers end-to-end logistics needs.”

TransNusa Aviation commences ARJ21 flight training campaign

Indonesia based TransNusa Aviation commenced 100 hour flight training campaign on the ARJ21 aircraft, ahead of the aircraft's anticipated entry into service. The carrier’s first ARJ21 registered PK-TJA is in a 95 all economy class seat configuration.
