Air China and Rolls Royce announce Beijing MRO JV Air China and Rolls Royce announced  a new 50/50 Joint Venture (JV) maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in Beijing to support the growing number of  Trent powered Airbus A350 aircraft in the region.  The new facility, BAESL (Beijing Aero Engine Services Company Limited) will be able to support 250 engine shop visits per year. Rolls-Royce President – Civil Aerospace, Chris Cholerton, said “The announcement of this JV is an important milestone for Rolls-Royce in China, where we have been powering the nation’s airlines for more than 50 years. Air China is a strategic partner for us, having successfully grown together over many years, and I am delighted to now expand our relationship with this exciting partnership in MRO and look forward to continued growth of our collaboration.” CDB Aviation completes Super Air Jet A320 Deliveries CDB Aviation announced the completion of ten Airbus A320-200 aircraft deliveries to Indonesian carrier Super Air Jet. CDB Aviation’s Chief Marketing Officer Peter Goodman said “SAJ’s growth prospects in Indonesia are very promising. Our team’s prerogative was to provide the most attractive financing terms and the right scale of leased aircraft to aptly support SAJ’s growth trajectory and low-unit cost operating model for the foreseeable future.” China Southern Airlines Leasing signs GA Telesis MOU China Southern Airlines Leasing and GA Telesis announced the signing of an MOU under which the parties have agreed to explore and collaborate on the provision of services by GA Telesis Ecosystem. GA Telesis CEO Abdol Moabery, said “The commercial aviation market in China ranks as one the most important sectors across all industry categories . We have played an instrumental role over the past two decades and plan to use that expertise towards the successful execution of this partnership.” SKYFive to partner with Safran Commercialize 5G in China SKYFive announced its  partner with Safran Commercialize 5G Air to ground in China, to tap the world's second largest airline passenger market, based on its patented Air-To-Ground (A2G) product leveraging existing mobile network components and network.
