Air Peace Expands China Route Network  Nigerian carrier Air Peace has launched a new weekly Boeing 777 service from Lagos to Guangzhou, China, effective from 13 July. Budapest Airport re-connects to Beijing  Budapest Airport announced Air China will re-connect Beijing and Budapest, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.  Budapest Airport Head of Airline Development, Balázs Bogáts said “More than seven years ago, Air China was the first airline for some years to link us to East Asia. While restrictions remain for entry into China, the return of this link will provide a vital opportunity for VFR passengers to return home after a two-year hiatus, as well as serving business passengers.” Bogáts adds: “We’re also pleased to confirm that, while this service was previously a triangle route with a return stop in Minsk, the operation will now be direct between Budapest and Beijing ensuring smooth connectivity between the two cities.” CAAC Launches “Civil Aviation Service Planning and Implementation Year”  Effective from 1st May Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) rolled out an 8-month thematic event of “Civil Aviation Service Planning Implementation Year” from May 1, which aims to promote the high-quality development of civil aviation services, as part of the  14th Five-Year Plan Period”. China to re-open to international air travel In a change of policy the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said it would gradually increase international passenger flights. China will steadily resume regular international passenger flights and help reboot the international aviation market in light of the COVID-19 pandemic control measures, to stimulate domestic and international demand and in turn boost economic activity. ENAIRE and EHang Announce Collaboration  EHang announced it has entered into a collaboration agreement with ENAIRE, Spain’s national air navigation services provider and future provider of common information services for U-Space airspace, to promote research, development, and innovation in the fields of U-Space and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) in Spain and Europe. EHang Europe and Latin America COO, Victoria Xiang, said  "Through the collaboration with ENAIRE, EHang seeks to support the development and implementation of new digital technologies for the integration of AAVs, and the implementation of a safe, sustainable and efficient UAM.” Acumen Aviation © 18 July 2022 All Rights Reserved.
