CDB Aviation Appoints Brendan O'Neill as CFO CDB Aviation announced a new executive addition to its Dublin-based leadership team with the appointment of Brendan O'Neill as Chief Financial Officer, who will oversee all financial aspects of the company. CDB Aviation Chief Executive Officer Patrick Hannigan said “We are very fortunate to have found such a strong executive for our CFO role. Brendan possesses deep strategic and financial acumen, and the breadth of knowledge and experience in aviation finance that will be a valuable asset to our company, particularly at a time when we are focused on navigating our path through the current challenging environment and positioning for the next phase.” China's ARJ21 regional aircraft serves 1 million passengers China's independently developed ARJ21 regional aircraft has served 1 million passengers as of 20th July, said its developer the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC). To date, the COMAC has delivered a total of 33 ARJ21 airplanes to its customers. They are serving on air routes linking 56 cities, according to the COMAC. China flies AG600 large amphibious aircraft from sea China's indigenously developed AG600 large amphibious aircraft succeeded in its maiden flight over sea yesterday morning in Qingdao, east China's Shandong province, its developer announced. The aircraft took off from the sea off Qingdao at 1018 local and completed the test flight after flying for about 31 minutes said Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). The successful maiden flight from the sea is a major step forward in the development of this large amphibious aircraft following its maiden flight in 2017 and first takeoff from a water reservoir in 2018. Finnair to resume flights to Shanghai Finnair has commenced operations between Finnish capital Helsinki and Shanghai on a weekly basis with Airbus A350-900 aircraft as it has received CAAC approval with effect.
