China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) Delivers two Boeing 787s to Lufthansa Group

China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) announced the delivery of two Boeing 787 Dreamliners to the Lufthansa Group, signifying the first deal between CALC and the Lufthansa Group. President and Chief Commercial Officer  Ms. Winnie Liu, said “We are delighted to welcome the Lufthansa Group as our new customer. China Eastern Airlines Group and Huawei announced signature of a strategic cooperation agreement to promote digitalization in the field of flight passenger experience.

China Southern Airlines expands Saudi network

China Southern Airlines has been approved by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) for passenger and cargo flight operations between China and Saudi Arabia. The carrier will launch three new routes from its bases in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen with Riyadh, effective from 16th April. Executive Vice President for Air Transport and International Cooperation GACA Ali Mohammed Rajab said “These new routes significantly enhance Saudi Arabia’s global reach. They demonstrate the progress made towards the Saudi Aviation Strategy’s objectives and pave the way for a more competitive and empowered aviation and tourism industry.”

EHang awarded EH216-S  CAAC production certificate

EHang has been awarded a production certificate for its autonomous EH216-S aircraft. The certificate, awarded by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), enables EHANG to commence mass production of the eVTOL type.EHang CEO, Chairman and founder, Huazhi Hu said “The issuance of the production certificate is pivotal for the EH216-S, as it opens the door to mass production, and is a crucial step for our advancement towards commercial operations. With the PC as the starting point, we are poised to gradually expand production and delivery to meet escalating market demands.”
