China Southern Airlines reconnects Guangzhou and Brisbane 

China Southern Airlines announced its to reconnect Guangzhou and Brisbane effective from 17 November using Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with plans to increase to a daily service within the next two years. The collaborative partnership between the Palaszczuk Government and the state’s four international airports, with an aviation funding of $200 million, has successfully secured the return of direct flights from China to Queensland, is expected to generate 278,000 inbound international seats and add $441 million to the economy and supporting nearly 1,790 jobs. China Southern Regional General Manager Australia and NZ, Jason Sun, said “China Southern Airlines aims to further expand the ‘Canton Route’ and, in turn, contribute to the influx of tourists from China as well as business and leisure travellers from other parts of the globe to Queensland.”

 

Dubai Aerospace (DAE) to acquire Boeing 737 MAX aircraft order from CALC

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced that an affiliate had signed a definitive agreement to acquire the rights, interests, and obligations of a portfolio of 64 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft from a wholly owned subsidiary of China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC), comprising of 737-8, 737-9 and 737-10 type series for delivery between 2o23 and 2026.  Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) CEO Firoz Tarapore said “We are delighted to be able to conclude this transaction with CALC to acquire a unique portfolio of 100% new technology, fuel efficient single aisle aircraft.”

 

JX Luxventure Announces  Collaboration with Hainan Airlines
