Air Lease Corporation places A330-200 with HiSky

Air Lease Corporation (ALC) announced the long-term lease placement for one Airbus A330-200 aircraft with HiSky for delivery by end of year. Air Lease Corporation (ALC) Senior Vice President, Marketing and Head of Aircraft Sales & Trading David Beker, said “After two and a half years of steady and successful growth with their all-ALC narrowbody fleet, HiSky came to us ready to launch widebody operations and ALC is delighted to provide high-quality aircraft that will enable the carrier to realize their commercial objectives."

 

Avmax delivers two CRJ200 aircraft to ProFlight Zambia 

Avmax announced the delivery of two CRJ200 aircraft to ProFlight Zambia, a Package Freighter msn 7128 and passenger aircraft msn 7774. Avmax CEO Steve Hankirk said "Avmax and ProFlight Zambia have forged a trusted partnership and we are happy to support them by leasing another CRJ200 passenger jet. We are also proud to support the launch of ProFlight Zambia Cargo, by leasing a CRJ200 Package Freighter. We wish ProFlight Zambia continued success with the launch of this new division."

 

De Havilland Canada adds Manas International Airport to client base

De Havilland Canada announced it added Manas International Airport to client base purchase of two Dash 8-400 series aircraft for delivery in May 2024, which are the first aircraft for the new start-up, and will be the foundation for future growth and expansion.

 

Fast-growing China will drive aircraft demand says Boeing 

Boeing announced its forecasting that China will need 8,560 new commercial aircraft through 2042, driven by primarily by economic growth in latest Boeing's Commercial Market Outlook (CMO). Boeing vice president, Commercial Marketing Darren Hulst, said "Domestic air traffic in China has already surpassed pre-pandemic levels and international traffic is recovering steadily. As China's economy and traffic continue to grow, Boeing's complete line-up of commercial jets will play a key role in helping meet that growth sustainably and economically."

 

Fly2Sky Airlines expands into North America market

Fly2Sky announced expansion into the North America market through a new partnership with World Atlantic Airlines utilizing an Airbus A320-2oo aircraft registered LZ-FSB. The aircraft will be based in Miami operating routes to Caribbean region until 2024Q2. Fly2Sky Airlines Accountable Manager Petar Lavrinov, said "We are beyond excited to collaborate with World Atlantic Airlines in our first North American ACMI project. We look forward to working together with the team at World Atlantic Airlines and are excited to deliver a pleasant flying experience that mirrors the warmth and vibrancy of the region we'll be serving.”
