Gulfstream G700 awarded European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification

Azorra takes delivery of its first Airbus A220-300 for Breeze Airways

U.S. based aircraft lessor Azorra announced delivery of its first Airbus A220-300 aircraft to Utah based Breeze Airways. The aircraft is the first aircraft out of the 22 Airbus A220-300 aircraft ordered by Azorra. The addition of Azorra’s capabilities in the regional airline segment is an additional endorsement for the A220 versatility carrying up to 150 passengers with a range of up to 3,600 nautical miles (6,700 kilometres).

 

 

Commercial Jet Service Awarded Boeing 737 MAX Certification

Dothan, Alabama based Commercial Jet Services announced the Boeing 737 MAX series aircraft has been added to its MRO facility certification.  Commercial Jet Services Vice President of Sales & Marketing Rick Townsend, said “We are very excited to now have the 737 MAX added to Commercial Jet’s Dothan, Alabama facility’s list of aircraft MRO capabilities.”

 

 

Gulfstream G700 awarded European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification

Gulfstream Aerospace announced Gulfstream G700 has received European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification, following the aircraft’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type certification on 29 March. Gulfstream President Mark Burns, said “The Gulfstream team is proud to add EASA to our growing G700 certification accomplishments. During the flight test program, we took the G700 across the globe, and the response to the aircraft’s cabin size, flexibility and performance has been outstanding. This EASA certification unlocks G700 deliveries for many more of our international customers, and we are excited to see our next-generation fleet grow around the world.”

 

Heart Aerospace opens US R&D hub

Heart Aerospace announced opening of a new Research and Development hub in Los Angeles .The LA-based R&D hub headed by Chief Technology Officer , Benjamin Stabler will focus on the advancement of Heart’s hybrid-electric propulsion system and other key technologies. The company will relocate its full-scale aircraft demonstrator to the US, where it aims to demonstrate proof of concept of a new and innovative hybrid propulsion system. Heart Aerospace CEO & Co Founder Anders Forslund, said “The establishment of our US R&D hub signifies our commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation in aviation. We are working on a solution we call independent hybrid propulsion, and we aim to demonstrate electric flight during next year.”
