Extra aircraft requested for Northeast to improve connectivity For improving the inter-state air connectivity in Northeast, a senior Airports Authority of India (AAI) official has requested several airlines to keep an aircraft exclusively for the region. GoAir Introduces Two New Airbus A320 Aircraft Into its Fleet GoAir has added two new aircraft to its fleet. One A320 aircraft arrived from Germany’s major port city Hamburg and another A320 aircraft from Toulouse in France, making it a rare twin delivery in the history of Indian aviation. GoAir has doubled its fleet in less than two years, earning itself the coveted title of India’s fastest-growing airline that operates 325+ daily flights connecting 24 domestic and 7 international destinations. GoAir plans to add one aircraft a month: Jeh Wadia GoAir said it will induct one aircraft every month as part of its aggressive fleet and network expansion plans. Announcing the induction of two new A320neos, GoAir managing director Jeh Wadia, in a release, said the new planes will help it launch flight services to Singapore and Aizwal besides catering to the seasonal demand. Kuwait aspires to more flights with India Kuwait is looking forward to enhance cooperation with India by increasing number of flights between the two friendly countries, according to Kuwaiti Ambassador to India Jassim Al-Najem. The previous agreement at this level between the two countries is limited to 12,000 seats per week, delivering an official letter requesting to increase the number of seats between the two countries. Vistara Commences Mumbai-Udaipur Flight Services Vistara has inaugurated its daily direct service between Mumbai and Udaipur, marking its entry into Rajasthan. Vistara’s Chief Strategy Officer, Vinod Kannan, said on the occasion, “We are delighted to bring the world-class flying experience of Vistara to Udaipur, the city of lakes that draws people from around the globe.
