AerCap completes Air India A321neo mandate

Following the delivery of the fourth aircraft, AerCap declared that it has completed a mandate for the lease of four new Airbus A321neo aircraft with Air India. These are the first A321neo to be added to the Air India fleet, powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines. AerCap Chief Commercial Officer Peter Anderson, said "It is a very exciting time for Air India as it returns to Tata Group ownership and transitions its fleet to meet the rapidly growing Indian aviation market.  AerCap is delighted to play a role in Air India's fleet transformation by providing its first tranche of NEO aircraft on operating lease."

Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) Completes Transavia France Aircraft Package

Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) announced the delivery of one Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Transavia France. This delivery completes the final part of a two aircraft package transaction with the airline. Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) SVP Marketing & Capital Markets EMEA, Christophe Million-Rousseau said "We are delighted to have completed the delivery of two 737-800 aircraft to Transavia France, we look forward to continuing to build on our strong relationship with Transavia France and the Air France-KLM Group.”

 

SMBC Aviation Capital closes $650 million senior unsecured bond offering

SMBC Aviation reported that the sale of $650 million principal amount of 5.450%, five-year senior unsecured notes due in May 2028 was completed by its fully owned subsidiary, SMBC Aviation Capital Finance DAC. SMBC Aviation Capital offers a complete and total guarantee for the Notes. The bond placement is SMBC Aviation Capital's first bond issue since October 2021 and its first bond issue since the company's acquisition of Goshawk Management Ltd. in December 2022. The bond is priced at US Treasuries + 200 basis points.
