Aergo Capital continues expansion with new Hong Kong office Aergo Capital announced 22 January the opening of the company’s new Asian Regional office in Hong Kong. The new office is located in The Hong Kong Club Building and will be led by Mr. Dewey Yee, Aergo’s Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Aergo Capital Asia Limited. Apollo Aviation Group Prices AASET 2018-1 Trust Apollo Aviation Group announced 23 January it priced its fifth aircraft portfolio transaction: AASET 2018-1 Trust . AASET 2018-1 will issue $442.276 million of Secured Notes that will be used to acquire a fleet of 24 aircraft. Avolon delivers one A320Neo to Air India Avolon announced 31 January the delivery of one Airbus A320Neo aircraft to Air India. This is the eighth Avolon aircraft on lease to Air India. CDB Aviation Reports Robust 2017 Activity and Growth Executing Transactions for 162 Aircraft CDB Aviation announced 23 January its increasingly robust activity and growth in 2017. During the year, CDB Aviation executed transactions for 162 aircraft, marking the company’s best-to-date operational results. GECAS takes delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX, Leased to Travel Service GECAS has taken delivery of its first 737 MAX 8 and GECAS and Travel Service —the largest carrier in the Czech Republic — celebrated its inaugural 737 MAX on 1st February. Felix McArdle, Senior Vice President, GECAS Sales & Marketing said ““GECAS is very pleased to further strengthen its business relationship with Travel Service by delivering the airline’s first Boeing 737 MAX 8 airplane. GECAS has been a partner with Travel Service since its inception in 1998 with five 737-800s currently on lease to this dynamic airline.” Silver Airways Inks Deal With NAC For 20 ATR 600 Turboprops ATR has announced their first deal of 2018 with leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) for 20 ATR-42/72-600 aircraft, of which 16 will be ATR42-600s and four ATR72-600s destined to Fort Lauderdale-based Silver Airways. Martin Møller NAC Chairman said “The ATR aircraft is firmly established as a cornerstone of NAC’s portfolio of modern regional aircraft.” SMBC Aviation Capital announces first deal of 2018 SMBC Aviation Capital announced 25 January a five aircraft deal with Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe.
