AerCap 3Q profit up 18% to $266 million on aircraft sales Dublin-based lessor AerCap Holdings posted $265.8 million in third-quarter 2017 net profit, up 17.8% from $225.5 million net income in the year-ago quarter. AerCap said the result was primarily attributable to a $63.7 million net gain on the sale of 27 aircraft and reclassification of eight aircraft to finance leases during the quarter. The company reported $1.3 billion in revenue for the quarter, up 3.9% from $1.2 billion in 3Q 2016. Boeing, CDB Aviation Finalize Order for 52 737 MAXs and Eight 787 Dreamliners Boeing and CDB Aviation 9 November finalized an order for 42 737 MAX 8s, 10 737 MAX 10s and eight 787-9 Dreamliners. Waypoint Leasing Places H145 Helicopter with Ecocopter in Chile Waypoint Leasing (Ireland) Limited announced 7 November that it has completed a lease transaction for one H145 helicopter to Ecocopter in Chile to be used in support of the operator’s wide range of utility work.
