ACIA Aero Leasing Completes Deliveries of Three ATR 72-600s, Facilitating Green Africa’s Takeoff ACIA Aero Leasing announced the completion of a mandate to deliver a fleet of three ATR 72-600 aircraft to support the commercial launch of Nigeria’s newest low-cost carrier, Lagos-based Green Africa. ACIA Aero Leasing Chief Executive Officer Mick Mooney stated “We are thrilled to have partnered with Green Africa’s experienced local and international management team to get their airline off the ground while supporting their ambitious mission to spur regional economic development through increased connectivity.” Avolon Delivers One Airbus A320neo to Spirit Airlines Avolon announced the delivery of one Airbus A320neo to Spirit Airlines. This is the nineth Avolon aircraft on lease to Spirit Airlines. Falko confirms acquisition of an ATR72-600 from Avation Falko Regional Aircraft announced the acquisition of one ATR72-600 from Avation PLC. The aircraft with MSN 1591 is on long-term lease to US-Bangla Airlines, having been delivered to the airline in March 2021. With this transaction, the number of regional aircraft in Falko's portfolio rises to 123, which includes a total of 14 ATR72s. SKY Leasing Announces Closing of $663 Million Secured Notes Offering SKY Leasing announced the closing of an issuance of $663 million of secured notes by SLAM 2021-1 Limited and SLAM 2021-1 LLC. SLAM expects to use a portion of the proceeds of the Notes to acquire a portfolio of 16 Airbus and Boeing aircraft valued at approximately $885 million. The portfolio features the youngest average aircraft age for an aircraft ABS ever issued with an average age of 1.6 years and a weighted average lease term of 11.1 years. The portfolio includes the highest concentration of next generation narrowbody aircraft for an aircraft ABS with 10 A321NEO aircraft in the portfolio.  SKY will act as servicer for SLAM's aircraft portfolio.
