Aircastle Limited Announces Shareholder Approval of Merger Agreement with Affiliates of Marubeni and Mizuho Leasing Aircastle announced that its shareholders have voted to approve the previously announced Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of November 5, 2019 by and among Aircastle, MM Air Limited and MM Air Merger Sub Limited at a special general meeting of shareholders held today. The Merger Agreement provides for the merger of Merger Sub with and into Aircastle with Aircastle surviving the Merger as a wholly owned direct subsidiary of Parent. Parent and Merger Sub are controlled by affiliates of Marubeni Corporation and Mizuho Leasing Company, Limited. GECAS appoints John Bordeaux as new Chief Investment Officer GECAS announced that John Bordeaux has been appointed as GECAS’ Chief Investment Officer.  He will take up the role from April 2020. In this role, Bordeaux will be responsible for the various teams that are involved in making our portfolio and investment decisions, namely Aircraft Trading, Commercial Operations and Portfolio Strategy. Having all these under one leader will ensure we take a holistic view of our portfolio and buy-hold-sell decisions.
