Elix Aviation Delivers an ATR72-600 to Bestfly Cabo Verde Elix Aviation confirmed the delivery of one ATR 72-600, MSN 1028, on lease to Bestfly Cabo Verde. FPG Amentum arranges sale of one American Airlines A321NEO FPG Amentum announced the sale of an Airbus A321-253NX (MSN 9374) on behalf of one of its investor customers. The aircraft is on lease to American Airlines and was sold to a subsidiary of a US-based lessor. Genesis orders two 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters Genesis announced it has entered into an agreement with Boeing to convert two 737-800 aircraft into freighters. The first 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) will be completed and ready to enter into service in spring 2022 with a second aircraft ready to enter operations in early 2023. This move will allow Genesis to take advantage of the rapidly expanding global e-commerce market and in doing so will enhance the value and extend the life of its 737-800 fleet. Goshawk completes extension and upsizing of unsecured Revolving Credit Facility Goshawk announced the extension and upsize of its unsecured Revolving Credit Facility (RCF) from November 2022 to November 2024 with a syndicate of banks. The current facility of $1.2bn will be increased to $1.4bn with 18 participating lenders, including two new lenders, into the facility. The RCF is Goshawk’s core liquidity facility and is key to supporting the company’s ongoing business and future growth. The extension demonstrates Goshawk’s continued ability to raise finance as it prepares for the post-Covid recovery of the aviation sector. Lobo Leasing and Orca Aerospace sign MOU to develop Orca eVTOL aircraft Lobo Leasing and Orca Aerospace have signed a memorandum of understanding. During the development program, Lobo will facilitate design discussions between Orca and future operators of the Orca eVTOL aircraft and will connect Orca with suitable investors. As the development program reaches maturity, Lobo will arrange acquisition financing for future Orca customers. Lobo Leasing CEO Bill Wolf stated “Lobo welcomes the opportunity to work closely with Orca in supporting the development of their eVTOL EMS-focused aircraft. The Orca team has a huge depth of technical experience. The aircraft they are designing combines high-performance in all critical areas with zero-emissions. Lobo will support the program by facilitating design discussions with operators and sourcing funding both for Orca itself as well as for their future customers”. SMBC Aviation Capital announces deal to lease one Airbus A350 aircraft to Lufthansa SMBC Aviation Capital announced that it has signed a direct operating lease agreement with Lufthansa for one Airbus A350-900 aircraft (MSN 228).
