Altavair Opens New Office in Dublin Altavair announced the expansion of its international footprint with the opening of Altavair Limited in Dublin, Ireland. The new office and team will complement Altavair’s existing operations in London, Seattle, and Singapore with increased support in marketing, technical, accounting, legal and contract management. Altavair CEO Steve Rimmer stated “We are energized by our continued growth and believe this is a logical next step in our evolution to better serve our investors and airline customer. Entering the Dublin market has long been on our radar and with our ever-expanding portfolio and the continued support from KKR, we felt this was the right time to make the move.” AV AirFinance Expands Dublin Team with New Executive Appointment AV AirFinance announced that Neal McElvaney has joined AV AirFinance as Senior Vice President-Loan Origination (EMEA). Based in Dublin, Ireland, Mr. McElvaney will be responsible for sourcing loan opportunities and developing customer relationships in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. AV AirFinance Chief Risk Officer Axel Hammar stated “We are delighted to welcome Mr. McElvaney to the AV AirFinance team. His wealth of experience in asset financing will be tremendously helpful to our business and we are thrilled to expand our team further as we continue growing our loan book.” Castlelake Appoints Ronan Kelleher as Aviation Chief Financial Officer Castlelake announced the appointment of Ronan Kelleher as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, Aviation. Based in the firm's Dublin office, Mr. Kelleher's responsibilities will include supporting investment execution and structuring, investment valuation, and internal and external reporting for Castlelake's aviation business, including Castlelake Aviation Limited. In this role, Mr. Kelleher will oversee the firm's dedicated Aviation Finance and Treasury teams. CDB Aviation Signs Facility Agreement for $530 Million Unsecured Syndicated Term Loan CDB Aviation announced the signing of a $530 million unsecured syndicated term loan with BNP Paribas and a group of leading global financial institutions. The proceeds will fund new capital expenditure, debt refinancing, general corporate, and working capital. CDB Aviation CEO Patrick Hannigan stated “Our capital raising campaigns continue to attract increasingly strong interest from a diverse lender base from across the world. The successful outcome of these initiatives is a testament to our team’s exceptional ability to manage all commercial, legal, and finance aspects of such complex transactions.” Goshawk inaugurates Lufthansa relationship with delivery of Airbus A350-900 Goshawk has delivered its first aircraft to Lufthansa. The Airbus A350-900 will complement Lufthansa’s existing order book and is an exciting milestone for Goshawk as it opens a partnership with the German flag-carrier. Goshawk Head of Airline Marketing Stephen Murphy stated “Lufthansa represents an instantly recognisable brand in global aviation. As an airline synonymous with market-leading customer experience, Goshawk is delighted to embark on this relationship with its first aircraft lease. This initial transaction with Lufthansa demonstrates Goshawk’s continued confidence in the global travel sector’s ability to navigate challenges.” SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Airbus A350-900 to Lufthansa SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one (1) Airbus A350-900 aircraft (MSN 0228) equipped with two Rolls-Royce model Trent XWB Turbofan engines to Lufthansa.
