CDB Aviation and Wizz Air Agree Sale-Leaseback for Four New A321neos CDB Aviation announced 26 August the signing of a sale and leaseback agreement for a fleet of four new Airbus A321neo aircraft with Wizz Air. CDB Aviation Chief Marketing Officer Peter Goodman said “The unrelenting drive to stimulate new markets demonstrates Wizz Air’s strategic efforts to aid the region’s nascent air travel recovery, while opportunely positioning its platform for the resumption of growth. We are delighted to have collaborated with the Wizz Air team on this latest transaction in the sale and leaseback channel.” Finnair closes a sale and leaseback agreement for one of its A350 aircraft with NBB & BBAM Finnair has finalised a sale and leaseback arrangement for one of its A350 aircraft with Nomura Babcock & Brown Co. and BBAM Aircraft Management LP as an arranger and lease servicer. In the arrangement, Finnair sold the Airbus A350 aircraft delivered in February 2020 to NBB and leased the aircraft back for its own operation. The initial operating lease period is 12 years, and the lease includes extension options. Icelease and Corrum Capital add fourth aircraft into CCM ICL Leasing Icelease ehf, a global aircraft leasing company, and Corrum Capital have completed the acquisition of a Boeing 737-800 (MSN 35342), by CCM ICL Leasing, LLC, an aircraft leasing company formed through a partnership between Icelease ehf and CCM Wavecrest Aircraft Leasing Co LLC, an aircraft leasing company wholly-owned by an affiliate of Corrum Capital. The aircraft was just recently redelivered from Japan Airlines and will be placed on lease with an undisclosed operator. SMBC acted as seller’s agent in the transaction.
