Aergo Capital announces the acquisition of two (2) B737-800 Freighters from AviaAM Leasing Aergo Capital has acquired two Boeing 737-800 Freighter aircraft bearing manufacturer serial number 29786 and 29788 subject to leases with BlueBird Nordic. Aergo Capital CEO Fred Browne stated “We are delighted to have successfully completed the acquisition of two (2) Boeing 737 converted freighters from AviaAM. We are excited to add BlueBird Nordic to our growing customer base and look forward to building our relationship together. We look forward to completing many more transactions together in the future.” CDB Aviation Enlists Ryan Barrett to Lead Asia Pacific Commercial Operations CDB Aviation announced that former GECAS executive Ryan Barrett has joined its commercial team as Head of Commercial, Asia Pacific. The continued build-out of the lessor’s commercial leadership is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen CDB Aviation’s strategic presence in key markets around the world. The appointment comes on the heels of the recent addition of Michelle Wu as Head of Commercial, Greater China. CDB Aviation CEO Peter Goodman stated “Ryan is a highly regarded commercial executive with a vast network of relationships in the global airline community, who will enable us to leverage market opportunities and stimulate further growth. In-depth understanding of airline-lessor dynamics, specifically in the areas of transactional execution, deal origination, and negotiation, is key to anticipating and addressing the needs of airlines.” Chorus to Acquire Falko to Create a Premier Full-Service Provider in Regional Aviation Chorus Aviation announced that it has entered into a sale and purchase agreement pursuant to which one or more wholly-owned subsidiaries of Chorus will acquire Falko Regional Aircraft Limited, together with (i) affiliates of Falko, and (ii) the equity interests in certain entities and aircraft which are ultimately owned by funds managed by Fortress Investment Group LLC and managed by Falko. The total consideration for the transaction is approximately US$855 million comprised of (a) US$445 million of cash consideration (inclusive of agreed adjustments)2, and (b) approximately US$410 million of existing indebtedness that will remain with the relevant target entities. The transaction includes Falko’s asset management platform and Fortress' equity interests in 1263 owned and managed regional aircraft and will create new opportunities for growth and a differentiated business model to maximize returns on aircraft assets. The combined lessor will have a total of 353 owned, operated, and managed regional aircraft. Gonzalo Ramos Joins Griffin Global Asset Management as Vice President Griffin Global Asset Management announced that Gonzalo Ramos, formerly of Airbus, has joined Griffin as Vice President.  Griffin Global Asset Management CEO Ryan McKenna stated “We are very excited to have Gonzalo join Griffin’s commercial team.
