Air Lease Corporation Announces Lease Placement of Airbus A320-200 Aircraft with HiSky Moldova Air Lease Corporation announced a long-term lease placement for one used Airbus A320-200 aircraft with HiSky Moldova, scheduled to deliver this July.  This will be the first aircraft in the fleet of the Moldovan startup airline. “ALC is pleased to announce this lease placement of our A320-200 with HiSky Moldova.  We have worked closely with the HiSky Moldova executive team at previous airlines for many years and are honored to participate in the launch of the airline by providing them with their first aircraft,” said David Beker, Vice President and Head of Aircraft Sales and Trading at Air Lease Corporation.

Air Wisconsin Selects FEAM For CRJ200 Line Maintenance Support 

FEAM AERO formally announced that it has recently signed an agreement with Air Wisconsin Airlines to become their line maintenance service provider at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). Under the agreement, FEAM will provide full technical handling for the CRJ 200 Fleet. With this partnership, FEAM has added the Bombardier CRJ to their list of commercial and regional aircraft capabilities. ATSG Delivers Boeing 767 Freighter to Raya Airways of Malaysia Air Transport Services Group, Inc announced the delivery by its Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM) subsidiary of a Boeing 767-200 converted freighter to Raya Airways of Malaysia under a five-year lease. This will be the second Boeing 767-200 freighter that Raya Airways has leased from CAM and put into service. “We are proud to take acceptance of this airplane from ATSG,” said Mohamad Najib Bin Ishak, managing director of Raya Airways. “It represents a significant step forward for our business and continued growth of our airline. It was awesome to see this plane arrive to such a warm welcome.” Aviation Capital Group Announces Commencement of Any and All Cash Tender Offer for its 7.125% Senior Notes due 2020  Aviation Capital Group LLC (ACG) announced that it has commenced a cash tender offer to purchase any and all of its 7.125% Senior Notes due October 15, 2020 (CUSIP No. 05367AAA1 (Rule 144A) and U05357AA3 (Regulation S); ISIN US05367AAA16 (Rule 144A) and USU05357AA33 (Regulation S)). As of June 10, 2020, ACG had $600 million aggregate principal amount of the notes outstanding. North American Bizav Flying Regains Third of Covid Losses North American business aviation flight activity reclaimed a third of the Covid-19-induced losses last month, rising 84% month-over-month but still down 49.2% from a year ago, according to TraqPak data released today by Argus International. The company’s forecast expects more post-Covid recovery this month, predicting a 26.6% decline from June 2019. The Southeast was the busiest region in May with 38,309 departures, more than double that of the next-closest southern West Coast region. Triumph Group Extends Long Term Agreement For Major Engine Accessory Repair And Overhaul Services In North America Triumph Group announced that its Triumph Systems & Support business unit recently signed a five-year, non-exclusive, fixed price agreement with a North American-based independent MRO facility for repair and overhaul support of engine accessories on the CFM56, CF34 and CF6 engine models for both commercial and military aircraft.
