Airhub Airlines: FAA approvals Granted and Maiden US Flight Operated Airhub Airlines announced the operation of its first commercial flight to the United States, on 9H-ZMK Airbus A340-300 on 17th January to Pittsburgh International Airport. Airhub Airlines Vice President – Commercial Husam Kharoufah stated "The series of long-haul flights undertaken by our airline demonstrates our outstanding capabilities to meet the requirements for operating to the United States, as we expand our operations to meet the ever-increasing demand in the US market. Airhub Airlines has made strides since the induction of our first widebody A340 aircraft in 2021, and we intend to continue in this trajectory with many more passenger and cargo flights to the United States planned throughout 2022." Aircraft Leasing & Management arranges lease of two further Airbus A320s to Allegiant Air Aircraft Leasing & Management announced it has arranged the lease of two further A320-214 aircraft to Allegiant Air. Atlas Air Extends Long-Term Agreement with SF Group Atlas Air announced the extension of a long-term aircraft transportation services agreement to operate a Boeing 747-400 Freighter for SF Group (SF), China’s leading express service provider, between China and the United States. We are also thrilled with the opportunity to expand Azorra’s executive jet leasing business with the new ACJ TwoTwenty. Boeing 777-300ER Freighter Conversion Program Achieves Significant FAA Milestone Wichita State University and Kansas Modification Center (KMC) reached another significant milestone to advance the passenger-to-freighter aircraft conversion of the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft at WSU’s National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR). KMC, NIAR WERX submitted a Certification Plan for the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) to the FAA moving the program one step closer to delivering the modified aircraft to its owner. Craig Bentley Promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Amerijet Amerijet International Airlines announced the promotion of Craig Bentley to Chief Operating Officer. Craig will be responsible for Amerijet's flight, technical and ground operations. Amerijet International CEO Tim Strauss stated "Craig's vision and collaborative approach to operations will support and align with the needs of our employees, customers, and growth initiatives. We are happy to have him in this crucial role and believe that his demonstrated ability to execute efficient strategies, build relationships and provide key leadership and training resources will contribute to Amerijet's success." EFW re-delivers first A330P2F to Altavair for MasAir Cargo operation Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW) announced the re-delivery of its first Airbus A330-200P2F Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) converted aircraft to Altavair L.P. Altavair has on order several A330P2F comprising both the A330-200P2F range variant and the A330-300P2F volume variant with the aircraft for lessee MasAir Cargo.
