Aviation Capital Group Announces Delivery of First A320neo to Colorful Guizhou Airlines Aviation Capital Group announced the delivery of one new Airbus A320neo aircraft on long-term lease to Colorful Guizhou Airlines. This is ACG’s first aircraft delivery to Colorful Guizhou Airlines and the first of three A320neo family aircraft scheduled to deliver to the Chinese carrier from ACG’s order book with Airbus. Breeze Airways Announces Debut Service From 16 Cities  Breeze Airways, the new "Seriously Nice" U.S. carrier from JetBlue founder David Neeleman, unveiled its debut network, comprising 39 nonstop routes between 16 cities in the Southwest, Midwest, Southeast and Eastern US. The first flights will operate between Charleston, SC, Tampa, FL and Hartford, CT, starting 27th May. Breeze is Mr Neeleman's fifth airline start-up, after JetBlue, Brazil's Azul, Canada's WestJet, and Utah-based Morris Air, which was later purchased by Southwest Airlines. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT, Breeze will focus most flights from four main airports: Tampa, FL; Charleston, SC; New Orleans, LA; and Norfolk, VA. Collins Aerospace : awarded expanded 10-year agreement to support Air China fleet Collins Aerospace announced itss expanding its longstanding support agreement for Air China's aircraft fleet to include next-generation Boeing and Airbus aircraft and additional aircraft systems. The new agreement signed with Ameco - a leading aircraft maintenance and engineering cooperation that supports Air China's fleet - builds on the existing support agreement for avionics onboard all of the airline's Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Under the newly expanded power by the hour program, Collins Aerospace will support Air China's next-generation platforms, along with its existing aircraft. Delta announces Dan Janki as new E.V.P. and Chief Financial Officer Delta continues to build out its leadership with the announcement Dan Janki joining the airline as its new E.V.P. and Chief Financial Officer. Dan will oversee financial reporting, the controller organization, corporate audit, financial planning, fleet and TechOps supply chain, fuel management, including Delta’s refinery, investor relations, supply chain management and treasury. In addition, corporate strategy will report to Dan. He also will join the Delta Leadership Committee. EXIM Board of Directors Approves $54.9 Million Loan Guarantee Supporting Aircraft Engine Exports to Turkish Airlines The Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) approved a $54.9 million guarantee of a loan from BNP Paribas, S.A., to support the export of a GEnx spare engine and two GEnx spare propulsors from GE Aviation to Turkish Airlines (Turk Hava Yollari, A.O.). ST Engineering Signs LOI to Lease Up to Five A321P2F Aircraft to Global Crossing Airlines ST Engineering announced the signing of a Letter of Intent by its Aviation Asset Management unit to lease up to five Airbus A321 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) aircraft to Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX). As part of end-to-end Aviation Asset Management solutions, ST Engineering will also provide maintenance services to these aircraft for GlobalX over the period of the lease.
