Aercap Delivers First Airbus A321P2F to IndiGo

AerCap announced it has delivered its first Airbus A321 Passenger-toFreighter aircraft to IndiGo post coverison by Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH before being delivered to IndiGo at ST Engineering Aerospace in Singapore. the Head of AerCap Cargo Rich Greener said "We are delighted to celebrate the delivery of AerCap's first A321 Passenger-to-Freighter aircraft with our longstanding customer, IndiGo. The A321P2F is a best-in-class narrowbody freighter solution, offering superior economics in terms of fuel-efficiency and flexibility to meet the growing demand of cargo operators.”

 

CDB Aviation Delivers First Airbus A320neo to Air India

CDB Aviation announced the delivery of the first of a fleet of six Airbus A320neo aircraft Air India,  supporting the carrier’s ‘Vihaan.AI’ multi-stage transformation initiative that is being rolled out post its acquisition by the Tata group. CDB Aviation’s Chief Marketing Officer Peter Goodman said “Our commercial team is delighted to have worked closely with Air India to address their fleet requirements with these new Airbus narrowbody aircraft from our order book. We are confident that these aircraft will play a pivotal role in Air India’s multi-stage transformation.”

 

IndiGo adds Gondia to growing domestic network

IndiGo announced the introduction of a new route between Hyderabad and Gondia in Maharashtra becoming its 85th domestic destination effective from 1st December operating daily. IndiGo Head of Global Sales Vinay Malhotra said “We are excited to launch Gondia, in Maharashtra, as our 85th domestic destination in the 6E network. People flying from Gondia to Hyderabad will have access to IndiGo’s domestic and international network, which has the potential to bring major economic benefits to the region. Gondia is very close to the state of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and is considered the gateway to Maharashtra from central and eastern India.”

 

Star Air Announces new routes

Star announced commenced two new routes from Ajmer (Kishangarh) and Hyderabad to Pune effective from 29 October using two class 76 seat Embraer 175 aircraft. Star Air Managing Director Mr Shrenik Ghodawa said  "We are dedicated to improving air connectivity within India and enhancing the travel experience for our passengers. These new routes and the introduction of Business Class service are significant steps in that direction. We look forward to serving our passengers with the utmost care and comfort."
