United Airlines Expands Global Network

Air New Zealand suspends Auckland-Chicago route

Air New Zealand announced it will pause its Auckland to Chicago O’Hare route from 31 March to 25 October 2024. The route is being put on hold due to ongoing issues with the availability of serviceable Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines which is impacting airlines around the world. These are the engines used on Air New Zealand’s Boeing 787 aircraft creating non availability of three aircraft during the summer season.

 

AviaAM Inducts Second Boeing 777-300ER at Aspire MRO for P2F Conversion

AviaAM Leasing announced that it inducted its second Boeing Boeing 777-300ER for passenger-to-freighter conversion. Performing the conversion will be Mammoth Freighters LLC at Aspire MRO facility at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas.  The aircraft will be able to carry 99.79 tons of cargo on transatlantic routes and is expected to serve EU-USA or China-EU trunk routes.

 

Nolinor inducts first Boeing 737-400

Nolinor Aviation announced the introduction of its first Boeing 737-400 aircraft adorned with the distinctive Nolinor Aviation livery. This milestone marks a pivotal evolution in Nolinor’s fleet serving specifically the Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) contracts for the mining industry. Nolinor Aviation President Marco Prud’Homme, said “The introduction of the 737-400 with the Nolinor livery is more than a visual update; it’s a clear signal of our unwavering dedication to serving the North. This aircraft, and the ones that will follow, are equipped to meet the unique demands of our clients in the mining sector, offering them a more tailored and resilient travel experience.”

 

United Airlines Expands Global Network

United Airlines announced it is expanding its route network, adding new non-stop flights between Newark to Marrakesh, Morocco operated by Boeing 767-300ER aircraft and from Tokyo Narita to Cebu, Philippines operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft and Houston hub to Medellin, Colombia operated by Boeing 737 aircraft. United's Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances, Patrick Quayle said "We have consistently been ahead of the curve in finding hidden gem destinations for our customers to explore and remain committed to providing the most unique slate of travel options for their adventures abroad. With our leading global network and elevated inflight experience, United has become the airline of choice for discerning customers looking for experiences they can't have with any other carrier."
