Shadow CAMO
- Monitor, log and review all maintenance activities (Due and Complete)
- Provide professional airline oversight on behalf of owners / lessors
- Monitor cost effectiveness through continuous audit program (Reducing uncertainties regarding repossession or lease return)
- Mirror CAMO services provided under operator control
- Assisting with onboarding of new asset types / classes
- Highlight possible fleet management efficiencies
SP1A
- For registered owners leasing transport category aircraft to foreign operators located in non-EASA member states.
- Contract with / establish and maintain a technical organisation, with capability sufficient to;
- Technically assess operators on a continuing basis
- Report periodically to the Authority any operation or maintenance anomalies,
- For operators located in an EASA member state.
- Liaise with the Authority on contractual, technical and operational issues.
- Contract third party, or a member of the operator’s senior management (e.g. Engineering, CAMO or QA Manager can be nominated for this role) in the event that the registered owner does not have the capacity to fulfil this obligation from within its own organisation
ARC
- Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) is issued upon successful Airworthiness Review.
- This includes full documented review of the aircraft records, and physical survey of the aircraft.
- This is provided by a Management Organisation (CAMO) with Airworthiness Review privileges.
