U.S. FAA Certifies Boeing 737 MAX 7
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration certified Boeing’s 737 MAX 7 on 3 August 2026, clearing the smallest variant of the 737 MAX family for commercial service. The approval marks an important step for Boeing’s narrowbody programme after a prolonged certification process and continued regulatory scrutiny of the MAX family.
Boeing Reports Second-Quarter 2026 Results
Boeing reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of US$24.6 billion, supported by 171 commercial deliveries. The company recorded a GAAP loss per share of US$0.67 and core loss per share of US$0.76, while total backlog increased to a record US$715 billion, including more than 6,200 commercial aircraft.
Delta Celebrates Opening Of SAF Blending Facility Serving MSP
Delta Air Lines joined Minnesota SAF Hub partners and state leaders to mark the opening of a sustainable aviation fuel blending facility at Flint Hills Resources’ Pine Bend Refinery. The facility will support SAF availability at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and is expected to blend up to 30 million gallons of neat SAF annually.
