BLR Airport Unveils “Gate Z”, a First-of-Its-Kind Social Lounge
Bengaluru Airport introduced “Gate Z,” a Gen Z–inspired social lounge designed to reflect evolving passenger expectations around airport dwell time and shared spaces. Moving beyond the traditional lounge model, Gate Z blends comfort, culture, and community into a flexible environment aimed at today’s socially driven travellers. The initiative reflects BLR Airport’s broader approach to reimagining airport infrastructure as lifestyle-oriented spaces rather than purely transit zones.
IndiGo Launches Direct Connectivity Between India and Greece
IndiGo commenced non-stop services between Delhi–Athens and Mumbai–Athens, marking the airline’s debut in narrowbody long-haul operations using India’s first Airbus A321XLR aircraft. Operating three times weekly on each route, IndiGo becomes the first Indian carrier to offer direct connectivity between India and Greece. The launch strengthens India–Europe air links and is supported by onward connectivity through IndiGo’s codeshare partnership with AEGEAN Airlines.
